Mum loved life to the full, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends eating, drinking and having fun.
Mum retired from DWP in 2012, a job she loved not least because of the friendships she had made over the years. She had lots of plans for her retirement which sadly didn’t come to fruition with the illness then loss of my Dad who she missed terribly. She was a wonderful, intelligent, funny and loving person who was taken too soon and will be sadly missed.
I have followed mum’s lead for her funeral requesting donations to Salvation Army, a charity close to our heart after seeing first hand the wonderful work they do.
