    Max, a truly lovely Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa and friend to many

    Died peacefully in his happy room at Hollybank Care Home with staff who loved and cared for him. A gentle, wise man who was interested In people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds. He cared very deeply for his family. He was interested in a wide variety of things and loved going to the ballet, gardening and eating puddings. He maintained a strong Christian faith to the very end. "Don't forget about passing a smile on!"
