Peter Shakespeare -from Prestwich (Shakey to many) -sadly lost his battle with terminal cancer on 21/5/2020.
Pete was an avid footballer from an early age-representing different teams-when he wasn't playing he was refereeing , coaching or watching the sport he loved- right up until the end .
Pete bravely fought MS for many years and positively used his diagnosis to help support others with neurological conditions.
Pete was so much, to so many - in his own quiet and unassuming way-interested in people , always looking for the positives-selflessly putting others first - a true gent.
Peter really will be greatly missed by all who were BLESSED to know him- his Family and his friends alike- those he has known for many, many years and those more recently met.
The World was a better place because of him.
Our World will never be quite the same again - RIP XXX
