Francis Diggle

  • 27.12.1964 - 07.08.2020

Francis sadly lost his life too soon at 55. Francis was a larger than life character who has left a huge hole in his family. He packed so much into the time he had, including many jobs, often returning to companies more than once. He was always a 'grafter' who would do anything for anyone. Francis loved nothing more than a tea time pint on a Friday having the' crack'. He would light up a room with his quick one liners, naff jokes and legendary practical jokes. He loved bikes and cars all his life and had an encyclopedic knowledge of them. He leaves behind his devastated mum Maureen, three brothers, nieces and nephews who describe him 'as the Uncle you could go to for anything.' Francis was most proud of his girls, Hannah and Francesca and he would do anything for them. He loved his family and was at his happiest at home with Carol and the girls making them laugh. If the people would like to a make a donation to the Lancashire branch of MIND the family would greatly appreciate this. Talking about metal health was something that Francis didn't always find easy but he was always willing to listen to others.
