Sylvia Tankard

Born and lived her early life in Hulme Manchester. Later moved to Rochdale and worked alongside her mother Mabel and father Tom. Met Rodney and married in 1960. Moved into the family home of 54 years on Chantlers Avenue, Bury where lifelong friendships were made and they brought up their three sons. She retired from her job as a school cook at Greenhill County Primary in the late 1990s. She was adventurous and enjoyed her holidays in the sun where more lifelong friendships were made. 5 years ago they moved to a little gem of a bungalow in Tottington with a lovely community where once again they were warmly welcomed and have been supported during these unusual times. Taken too soon, missed beyond comprehension, loved forever. ❤️
