Terence Patrick Smith

Born in Bolton in 1920, Terence would be known as Terry to the many people who had the privaledge of knowing him. Only leaving Bolton to serve in the 2nd world war, Terry  remained a Bolton resident for all of his 97 years. Terry served as a member of the 724 Defence Squadron which became the 2724 Squadron, RAF Regiment posted across the UK, Belgium, Holland and Germany. After the war, Terry continued to work within his trade as a tiler until his retirement.  A dad of 2, Terry was widowed in 1974 however met his other long term partner, also a widow, several years later and they were together for almost 40years. Terry gained a new extended family during this time increasing both his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
