Sheila Knight, fantastic mum, grandma, great grandma, mother-in-law and great friend to so many people.
Sheila was always smiling and was always ready to help anybody with anything at any time, nothing was too much trouble to help others, especially her family.
She adored her husband John and they spent many happy years together until John sadly passed away in 2009.
Sheila lived an active and happy life, working hard for many years (both at work and at home!) before enjoying her retirement with John; with holidays they'd previously dreamt of in between, as they had both always done, doing anything and everything for their precious family.
Sheila passed away peacefully at Bury Hospice surrounded by family and love, the care she received there was second to none and the family would like to say how fantastic all the staff at the hospice were, absolutely amazing!
Please have a look round Sheila's memorial, add any messages you would like, the family would love to read them. There are also some lovely pictures to peruse in the gallery and the family will be adding more, if you have any you'd like to add just get in touch!

So sad to hear of Sheila’s passing. She was a very special lady. I spent many years working with Sheila and she taught me all I know! She was a caring and loving lady and I know the passing of John was extremely hard for her. She has a loving family who I am sure will support each other through this tough time. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
A precious lady with a heart of gold, kind, thoughtful, caring & forever smiling. Thankyou for being such a lovely Auntie, Precious memories to treasure of you and your loving husband, my Uncle John, A match made in heaven, now Reunited. Forever in my thoughts xx
We knew Sheila and John through our daughter Janine’s relationship with Andrew. Sheila was a lovely lady with a sense of fun.. Whilst we didn’t see her often we enjoyed her company when we met, usually at Christmas and Easter. Sheila and John were, like us very proud grandparents of Daisy and Joel.
We will miss her.
