Simply amazing
Mum was just that - simply amazing. She was such a strong character, and it was that strength that got her through the last couple of years.
Unbeknown to us Mum was suffering with lung cancer, a fact that she was clearly aware of but in typical Mum fashion she kept it to herself so as not to worry us. She had obviously taken the decision not to be treated, and knew that if we were aware then we may have made her deal with it differently.
We have nothing but respect and admiration for her decision.
She will be missed by many, in particular her partner Ken, her sister Joan and brother-in-law John, together with extended family and friends.
