Jean was born to Eva and Walter Draper in Little Bolton. She became a big sister to Dorothy. She attended Harper Green School in Farnworth before going to work as a winder in a mill where her mother and sister worked as weavers. One of her passions in life was dancing and she was over the moon when she joined the staff at The Aspin Club in Bolton. She helped to teach people to dance whilst having a great time. She became a mother to Jeff, Kathleen and Stephen. Later a step mother to Andrea and mother in law to Bernice, Neville, Bridget and Richard. she will be missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Jean loved to go out for meals, shopping and holidays. She always made sure was was stylishly dressed for every occasion.
