Mark was one of my first customers when I moved "up North". He was so grumpy when I met him I thought that was it, but he became a great customer and I like to think friend - he even offered me a job when I needed help... think of you often mate - you are one of a kind

You are the best uncle and brother that myself an Flynn could have ever asked for. A piece of me has died with you. I love you more than you ever realised. I look like you , I came to you for advice, you taught me how to try and look at things rationally, and if that didn’t work, you told me just to do whatever I wanted and stuff everyone else. You taught me to be brave. You taught Flynn how to chop wood (to your own detriment) and how to set fires. He loved his Uncle more than any words that I have in my vocabulary can describe. He will be lost without you. You were my rock and was always there no matter what pickle I got myself into. My heart is broken and my life will never be the same. Heartbroken to hear of Mark's passing. He was one of natures gentlemen, loved his family and would do a good turn for anyone. Lost for words. We thought highly of you Mark and your beautiful family. Sorry we couldn't be there, we heard whilst in Cypress. God rest your soul our lovely friend. xxxxx

Shocked and gutted at this tragic news. Mark was my former boss and friend. Always there to help, even when in one of his moods! Hope he's at peace. I'll always have fond memories of him. Sleep tight pal x

You will be sorely missed Mark - you were loved by so many people and it leaves a huge hole that you are not here. For the 20 years we’ve been friends, I can’t think of many other people who would manage to be grumpy; funny, angry and then inspiring all in one call or pint - in the way you always did! I would write down some of your classic lines here, but we all know most can’t be printed... so I’ll just recite them as i raise a drink to you pal. I’m sure when we meet again it’s your round - be at peace my friend, I miss you.

Mark Kayley. I will never understand everyone's sudden loss. I loved you as a boss and as a comedian. Mr Grumpy at times but always there should you need help. A very good provider for his family, materially and had so much love for his children. Chief Cook and bottle washer and extremely astute businessman at work. You have left a massive void in so many people's lives. LOVED BY SO MANY, MANY PEOPLE. I so wish you were able to have read the many comments of love before you fell asleep then maybe you would still be here. See you soon Mark. Much love Alice xxx

Mark and I got to know each other and became friends over the past 20 years as a customer of my companies Vision Link and Pro-Vision. Straight talking, honest, ethical, approachable and friendly he was always in my eyes a role model for others in the industry that we both worked in. It was a pleasure to know him and a privilege to be his friend.

No words can express our thoughts about the sad loss of Mark, he was down to earth, funny and generous. Marks calling card was leaving Alans Chocolate wine on the front door step,. always asking about Rae and her netball, Mark organised a Helecoptor trip and I was panicking which he thought was funny, he said it was the safest Helecoptor you could ride in. Mark was Alans “go to man” Mark will be sadly missed by all of us. Our sincere thoughts are with you all at this very sad time, if you need us we are here for you as Mark was here for us x

From falling asleep and snoring throughout Shrek 1 and 2 with my dad to our attempted underage break in at Bend It Like Beckham, driving extra fast down the bumpy lane to swim school, supervising our after ice skating teas at the Holden Arms, numerous family adventures, finally getting me to abandon my stabilisers at Oasis age 10 and most importantly, giving me four amazing best friends for life and Auntie Ju, you had a massive impact on my life (the stabilisers was a big one) and I’m so lucky to have you as my Uncle Marky. I’m really going to miss hearing you let yourself in (we still think you had a key) and popping round for a catch up/a small portion of whatever mum was cooking at Carol’s cafe; you always had the best stories to raise a chuckle. You have the biggest heart out of anyone I’ve ever met and would stop at nothing for the ones you loved; we were all so very lucky to have you in our lives. Thank you for being such an amazing friend to my dad over the years too; there’s a big Marky shaped hole in a lot of hearts right now and there always will be. As always, we’re thinking of you all. A former boss of 5 years and a family friend but I’ve got so much to thank Mark for. My dad managed to get me a job working for Tech Sol when I was 17. At 20 year old when my Dad passed away suddenly, Mark went above and beyond to help me in & out of work. I honestly can’t state enough how much he helped me through the toughest time in my life and I’ll always be greatful for the things he did for me not as a boss but as a person. Speaks volumes of his personality and its helped massively with the choices I’ve made in my life going forward. As a family we are all so greatful, Scott, Jeanette & Emma. Rest in piece Mark

Mark was everything you could want in a friend and so much more - whenever we met up he left me smiling, laughing or thinking. His family meant everything, yet he was so generous with help and advice to all whose life he touched. Our thoughts are with Julie & kids, his mum & dad and all who were close. I’ve known you all my life. A quiet stable presence, unwavering and loyal. From the times you used to babysit Marie and I (not too many as we drove you mad) to going to speak to my mum as you knew I was wagging college. ( I didn’t speak to you for a while after that) but thank you for doing that. You did it because you cared I’ve watched you and Julie bring up four amazing children who are a credit to you both. Tickets for concerts, family parties and the wonderful Christmas Day that you give everyone. You only ever had to ask you and you got what ever you needed. Just this year with a car for Den and I when we were stuck. I will think of you every time I look and use that car. A wonderful,generous, kind, and amazing man. Mark was funny, kind, generous and genuine. The first time we met was on a stag trip to Dublin ... I'm still convinced that Mark was the one that hid my boarding card, ... he always denied it with that "who me!" smile. He was kind enough to sort football tickets for my son, invite us to posh charity evenings and I always enjoyed his company hugely. My thoughts are with Julie, family and close friends. I can only begin to imagine the pain and sadness felt by all those people who were lucky enough to know him better than I did. Love to all, Dave and Jan xx

Mark, i echo all of the thoughts, feelings and condolences of anybody that has had the privalege of working for you. I spent 8 happy years at technology solutions, made a lot of freinds that i speak to often, made a lot of brews for you, more so since i left!. I'll always remember you for your kindness, loyalty to your lads, your humour and your no nonsense approach. I learnt a lot from you, and you deeply missed.
