I will always think of your dad fondly and remember him as the Pied Piper Lorna....walking back to his and your mums house from Higher Lane School with a motley crew of grandchildren trailing both behind and in front of him! I always gave him a beep as I passed and got a friendly smile and wave off him!! Such a lovely memory!!! Xxx

We know that Ray was a devoted family Man, at the Centre of a very loving and beautiful family.. I first met him in person, at mine and Lorna's graduation ceremony at Manchester University., he was so receiving, warm, friendly and full of pride for his lovely daughter., clearly a doting Husband, Father and Grandfather. I know how deeply his loss will have impacted on all of his wonderful family. Stan and I send all our love to the family, and know that he will live on in his two lovely daughters and his amazing, Grandchildren. We will be thinking of you all on Thursday.
