"The Warmest of Hearts and the Tightest of Handshakes"
John is: A poem
A true gentleman, through and through
As a dad or husband to name a few.
A brilliant mechanic and DIY king,
Sinatra and Fitzgerald you'd hear him sing.
He served exceptionally in the Military,
Before returning home to Bury.
No one could ever be any fairer,
Than that short-sleeved t-shirt wearer
Considerate, intelligent: a support to always look to,
With his token phrases that would forever ring true,
A hard-worker and a family man
A golfer, a footballer and a cricket fan
Now that you're at peace,
And resting in your chair,
With a whisky and lemonade
With one ice cube somewhere.

We'd just like to say thank you to everyone for their kind words of support at this sad time.
Family flowers only and donations to Cardiac Risk in the Young - "The Alex Reid Memorial Fund" - in memory of John's Granddaughter are welcome
