My Mum's rock, a wonderful Dad / Grandad and Father in Law and an amazing friend to many !
To say we our proud of our Dad or simply Trev as most of you know him is the understatement of all understatements.
Wherever he worked or wherever he travelled he made the best friends on the planet. He never said No and would drop anything to help anyone. In fact he spent most of his life helping people whether at work or home.
Along the way, he managed to keep us 3 alive (Simon, Martin and Gareth) which in itself is a minor miracle. More importantly he brought us up the right way with the right values and always allowed us to learn from our mistakes (which we have happily done !). He has got us out of scrapes, brushed us down and supported us with every little thing we have done. He has inspired us all to travel and make the most our our short time on this planet. For that alone we will be eternally grateful.
He also survived 43 years of marriage to Mum or Sue ! They have had a great life together, so many stories too many to tell. Nobody will miss him like Mum who loves him with all of her heart.
Following a tough battle with cancer, he peacefully passed away on Monday 14th October in Bolton Hospice. The last year has been extremely tough for everyone, friends and family, but we would like to thank everyone for their support and making sure he made the last of every minute. Every visit, every trip out, all the messages we are so extremely grateful.
We would like you to join us in celebrating Trev's life. His funeral will take place at St.Johns Church, Farnworth - Friday 8th November at 11:30 followed by a private committal. Details of the reception/wake to follow.
Dad didn't want loads of flowers (ever the practical one) so donations to Bolton Hospice and the Alaw Ward at Bangor Hospital (if you choose this it is Awyr Las Just Giving and you need to simply add Alaw Ward in the details).
