Peter Michael Emslie

  • Born: 15 January 1975
  • Died: 30 May 2020

Pete Emslie was loved by so many who held him close. An affectionate husband, amazing brother, fiercely loyal friend, hilarious uncle, incredible son to the late Joan and Jim and an extremely cuddly daddy. Pete always had time for his friends and family members, and would unfailingly do anything he could to help everyone in his life and always put others first. He was a hardworking and reliable colleague, who cared greatly for those he worked with. His generosity and kindness knew no bounds. This was evident in his tireless and admirable commitment to his charity work for the local community including supporting the homeless. Pete was a dedicated member of his karate club, of which he was so proud. He was honoured to be a part of such a special group of people who were so close to his heart, and became treasured friends with whom he achieved so much. Despite suffering with asthma, he never let this limit him or prevent him from achieving so much in all aspects of his life. We know that he would be touched by any donations to Asthma UK in his memory – if you can help, please click the "Donate" button below. Everybody who met Pete could not help but be charmed by his charisma and his warm, infectious sense of humour. He truly understood those close to him, and made us laugh every day. He will be sorely missed by so many whose lives he brightened. Rest in Peace, Pete.
