John passed away with Dorothy by his side after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
He leaves behind a loving family of Dorothy, Kathryn, Stephen, Claire and Eddie.
John was well loved amongst his family and friends and will be missed greatly.
Funeral is taking place on Friday 19th June at East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe at 12.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations are being split between Cancer Research and Bury Hospice.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at All Saints church as and when this can be arranged and details will be made known at a later date.

So many fond memories from the first time we met John, Dorothy and family. A true friend, genuine person. Were thankful we met up ever so recently to be in his company for a short time.

John was always a great guy, very well liked even though he supported the wrong football team. We had many a conversation/debate around football over the years. He will be sadly missed by all at Tate&Lyle as he was a true gentleman and a great guy. Warmest condolences to Dorothy and the family xx
