Thanksgiving for the life of Vera Spencer
Vera was very determined to live an independent life in her own home, despite her health issues. We, the family, are pleased that she managed to achieve her wish, almost to the end, with the help of some fantastic support from her 'personal helpers/friends and neighbours..Grateful thanks to all involved.
Due to the Covid 19 virus, it is with regret that we have decided not to organise a traditional 'wake' gathering after the service. We would prefer everyone to stay safe, alert and healthy. (The service may also have restrictions due to the Covid 19). Vera had 2 nieces, 1 great niece, 4 great nephews, one great great niece and another due in September.

Very sorry to hear this about Vera. I first worked with her in 1966 in the Manchester Trustee Dept. of Martins Bank (later Barclays). Later, we all moved with the dept. to Radbroke Hall in Knutsford. She was fastidiously correct in all that she did but always friendly and helpful. She will be well remembered.
