Our love and thoughts are with you Mary, Sam, Stuart, & the rest of your family at this most difficult of times. Stuart was a man with a twinkle in his eye & the warmest of smiles. His Great love for Mary the rarest of treasures . His family were his world, the joy he had seeing his grandchildren Max , Charlotte & Erica become the wonderful young people that they are, the pride he had when he spoke about them . We will miss his company, as will all that knew & loved him .
Only got to know Stuart over the last 18 months or so but I had a great respect for him so much knowledge and ability.Always had a laugh and a joke and a story to tell.we will miss very much at the Noke workshop. My deepest sympathy goes out to all his family.

Theyve certainly bagged themselves one hell of an angel. We miss you Legend, your beaming face etched in our memories to carry with us. Love always, Andrea, Mark, Monty & Bella xxxx

Stuart was a great friend and a great man.
Our regular conversations were always filled with so much laughter and I will miss him so much.
Stuart and I became close school boy buddies at Radcliffe Sec. Had some great laughs with him and also his Mum and Dad.
I was so pleased for him when he became successful in life.
Was great to once again meet up at St Marys golf society some 30 odd years ago.
He was a top bloke! My heart goes out to Mary and the family RIiP Stuart . Ian (Spud).

You were the man. I have so many great memories from when I was a kid and over the years. Always smiling and facial expressions that spoke a thousand words. The great conversations sorting the world out. A true inspiration for me . Gone far too soon.
Sending all our love to Auntie Mary, little Stu, Sam and families. Thinking of you all xx

What a wonderful wonderful man I had the pleasure of knowing Im playing golf with Stuart for the last 25 years he always made me laugh to the point of crying I loved it when we all went abroad together and playing golf I will miss you my good friend to meet again take care God bless my condolences to all his dear and wonderful family adios Stu xx
Stuart a stalwart of St Marys Golf Society for 30 + years, he was the standard we all looked upto - and he had the same term of endearment for every body - "thanks cock, good shot cock etc etc". Peter Turner and I played regular with him on a Saturday in Stand Golf Club competitions - every week was different with 4 hours of enjoyment wit and banter the golf was secondary - in 2019 he traveled up from the south to surprise us all and at a St Marys event at Stockport it was great to see him - he then drove home the same day. He always looked immaculate and set the trend for his golf attire. On behalf of all at St Marys Golf Society enjoy that 19th hole in the sky Stuart
I didn't know Grandude for very long, but the second I met him I felt welcomed by his warmth and friendliness. I feel privileged to of met such a wonderful man. Love Mel X
BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day god called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as god calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
Sometimes life just isnt fair.
Why take someone from us who always made you feel better after meeting them.
We will all miss the energy he had and gave so freely.
Sam, Mary and family, thinking of you at at this very sad time. X

Marnie joined in calling him Grandude and those words are totally befitting of a grand, dude. Gentle, funny, kind and just bloody good fun to be around. Mary and Stuart had a partnership like very few. Soulmates and partners in crime and to be around them was such a joy. Mary, Sam and young Stew and your lovely families I hope in time you will smile broadly when you think of the wicked jokes and that laugh! For now please accept our deepest condolences. With much love Sara, Brian and Marnie.
Having been a long term friend of Sam, I was lucky to meet Stuart & Mary 20 odd years ago. Such an inspirational, kind and fun, fun, fun couple. Stuart epitomised Joie de vie and positivity in my opinion and I know he and the whole family dealt with such an unfair illness with dignity and grace. All our love goes out to Mary,Sam & family, a truly lovely man and huge loss xxx
Stuart was like a brother to me, he was all you wanted from a friend, I will miss him so much, My heart goes out to the family and Mary.

A massive loss to friends and family. Stuart was always the life and soul of our adventures overseas. Always first on the coach ready for golf or there at the bar with his big smile. Vegas 2019 was probably our best laugh together but so many more memories i'd run out of room to mention. RIP
Such sad news. I got to know Stuart better on our last golf trip together. He was great fun to be with, always laughing ad so positive. One of the truly nice guys.He will be missed by so many people.

My dad died as he lived, strong and with grace. He was the very best father, I was so very lucky to have in guiding me through my life. He was kind and gentle and awesomely funny to the end and I shall miss him terribly. Watch over us dad, until we meet again x x
