In memory of our beloved James Patrick Patton
Please feel free to leave any messages and memories you have about Jim. He sadly passed away suddenly, in the early hours of Tuesday 4 August. He was at home and had his wife Joan, daughter Keeley and brother Dessie with him and had just enjoyed a few hours at the pub with his brother and his friends Tommy, Skippy and Aidy. He will always be loved and missed. Rest in Peace JP xx

What an honour to know you Jim wow that giggle and yes wind up ! Cant thank you enough the way you and Joanie welcomed and treated our Dave as one of your own I know he felt loved by you and your beautiful family. How you welcomed us all and stood by us all when things got tough. You will be greatly missed Jim as you are a great man loved by so many. If you bump into Dave say hi Im sure you will and you will both be giggling and having a pint or a capo fly high Jim xxxxx ️

We only had the pleasure of meeting you once but you clicked with my (then) 6 yo son and so much time for his millions of questions and seemed to enjoy answering each and every one of them before sending him on his way with a little something to buy ice cream, not only that but you raised a tremendous daughter in my friend Mac, which is a testament to your parenting and I cant begin to tell you how much it was clear that she adored you and every fibre of your being! So I promise you I will look after your daughter while she mourns you loss and support her as she and your family learn to live with the void you have clearly left RIP x x

Jumbo was a mighty mighty man, I enjoyed every minute I spent with him at many racing circuits and enjoyed many a pint with him. He was Dereks main sponsor and helping Derek win the British 250cc championship, I also rode under his name for many races and at the Indian Grand Prix, along with Derek. We have all lost such a wonderful dad and friend I will sorely miss Jumbo.

My darling dad I just cant believe you are gone. You were my world and more and I will miss you so very much. Nothing will ever be the same again, especially the racing. Thank you for being the best dad ever and for loving me every single day. I am honoured to call you my dad. My heart is broken. RIP daddy xxxx

Well my soul mate, what am I going to do now We had a great life together, we raised 4 beautiful children and had 55 wonderful years of marriage. Who am I going to nag now Rest in peace my JP from your JP, I will always love and miss you every minute of every day. xxx
