Beloved husband of Mary and the late Betty, Loving dad of Martin, Sharon and Gaynor, father in law "pops", grandad, great grandad, brother and good friend to many.
Dad was loved by many. He was a true gentleman. A man who enjoyed life.
He was always happy to help others and would say 'yes'' because he wanted to and not because he felt he had to.
Dad had great knowledge and supported all ages. Whether it was correcting the grammar on Gaynor's university dissertations tor helping his great granddaughter with her Spanish homework. His talents were endless.
He always had a smile to greet you. He never judged you but always guided & praised your achievements. He encouraged you to go further and to be happy.
Dad was a hard working family man who believed the finest things in life were free. He would prefer a walk with family 'spending time together' rather than have an expensive meal out.
Anyone who knew dad will have great memories of time spent with him.
We certainly and will treasure them forever.
Sleep tight Dad.
Love you always,
Martin, Sharon & Gaynor.

Brian was a member of Prestwich Camera Club for many years. A kind and caring gentleman with always a smile and many a dry quip. Our condolences to all his family.
Over the last 25 years Brain has been more than just a customer to us. Whenever Brian came into us it was always more than just for business it was always for a general chat and a brew. Brian made himself at home and wondered about our workshop making sure he greeted everyone.
Our thoughts from everyone at Advanced Motorcare are with Brian's family at this sad time.
Rest in piece Brian
