Our beloved Mum, Nan, Sister, Auntie and friend.

Sadly on the afternoon of 19th November 2020 our beloved mum passed away. Mums sudden and untimely passing was a great shock to all. We will all remember mum in our own special way, all the good times and fun we all shared will be in our minds and hearts forever. Not a day will go by where she isnt in someones thoughts. Mum was a very special lady who would do all she could for anyone she knew or met. Mums wish was that she signed up to be an organ donor. After mums passing we meet a specialist nurse Lea, she expertly and compassionately explained what could and was going to happen to our my mum as an organ donor. Later that evening we received a phone call from Lea to say that 2 donors had been matched with mum. Both of these donors were on the critical list. Although mums passing was very upsetting for our family we take some happiness and great pride in the knowing mums actions as a donor has helped to save the lives of 2 people and brought happiness to 2 families. Mums request to be an organ donor and the good it has done has prompted many of our family to follow in her footsteps and become organ donors ourselves. Mum was never the one to be centre of attention and with this in mind we have set up this page to honour mums request. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sue-ann-platt
