One of lifes truly larger than life human beings who could light up any room in any circumstance with such natural ease and that infectious smile of yours. Howard, you made an enduring impression on everyone who came into contact with you with your kindness, real interest in others and generosity of spirit. You will be greatly missed, but leave such a lasting legacy.

RIP Howard. Condolences to your family, you were a shining example of how to treat others. I had the pleasure of working with you and always enjoyed catching up. The kindness and generosity you showed will live on in the many lives you touched and influenced.

Condolences on the loss of a true gentleman who always had time for others and was loved by all that knew him. It was an honour to have know Howard, even for only a short period. He will be greatly missed by everyone, but the stories of his life will live on for ever. Rest in peace Howard.

Here's to the nicest person I've met in my professional career. I am lucky to have worked, ridden, drunk and shared travel tales with H and they are all good memories. Mentor, counselor, confidant, joker and friend. How one man can leave such a hole in so many lives is a wonder and my greatest sympathies with his family. I will miss him greatly.

Howard was one of the best and taken too soon. For the few years I have worked with you I thank you for your help and support and it has been pleasure knowing you. What a terrible loss. I had the honour to work with Howard for nearly 20 years at Savills. He was a rock in the office helping influence so many careers. He was kind enough to help me with a number of house surveys steering me away from several potential disasters, only asking for lunches and beer as payment. A great man and true legend. Where do I start From the first time we met Howard in Nerja about 10 years ago it was love at first sight! Howard was a true family man, gentleman and all round top geezer. He was an entertainer and many of you have spoke of his ability to tell a story. Trust me I can talk, but the pool at Capistrano Playa was a hotbed for characters and Howard was an alpha male in the best possible way and obviously had no problems holding centre stage. Great listener though and he made the quieter members of the group feel very welcome. He had everything one could aspire to have.. He was kind, generous, thoughtful, funny but also clearly intelligent and successful. Janet and all the family are a blueprint of a fantastic unit and our thoughts are with you at this horrendous time.. We will all miss you pal and we are proud that we can call you our friend.. Can't quiet comprehend such sad news. Howard was a true gent, biggest smile and generous with his conversation and time. Memories of laughing my head off, me and Howard stripped to the waist scrubbing clothes on the coast to coast epic. A genuinely all round lovable guy. Love and deepest sympathy to the family.

Awful and sad news, he was a great guy and a true gent. He had a great skill to make the most obscure link to one of his many stories. He was a brilliant storyteller and I have fond memories of his mountain bike tales! RIP Howard.

Still shocked and so saddened. Howard always had all of the time in the world for you, Always stopped, had a chat and asked after you. So genuine and so kind. The office will not be the same. We miss you Howard.

So sad to hear of the loss of my cousin Howard. Although moving away from Manchester many years ago I recall vividly the happy times we shared when we were young. My heartfelt condolences to all of the family.

Im still in shock and disbelief and cant get used to the fact that Ill never see Howards smiling face again he was the most genuine man I have ever met, nothing was too much trouble and he always made time for a chat with everyone.
