Jon I've known you for 25 years and I've always thought of you as being one of life's good guys and after Thursday's wonderful service and then Reading all these wonderful messages of love and respect I am truly proud to call you a friend I'll miss you man x
A dear friend of many many years, and although we lost touch for a while having re connected over recent years, you will be terribly missed. Always in our thoughts. May you rest in peace. X
To my ever supportive colleague and wonderful dear friend Jon. Working with you was an absolute scream (although on the hardest of projects, you made them enjoyable and the best that I have worked on without doubt). I will never forget your sharp whit, endless stories to keep us amused, your positivity and thoughtfulness for all the team (and your snazzy shoes!). I will miss being the subject of your 'short' jokes and our rambling conversations! The photo is the end of the Manchester Council Project
To Vikki and family, sending my love and thoughts to you all - It was a fabulous service for Jon today xx
Jon,
Your light will forever shine in our hearts. We will never forget you. Your positive approach to all you did in your life was truly an inspiration to us. We are sharing a glass or two of good red wine in your memory. Cheers
I have fond memories of working with Jon during his time at Computacenter. We would engage in long conversation when we bumped into each other at the Blackfriars office. He was an interesting story teller often talking about cars or his family and if he wasn't telling a story he would be taking the mickey out of me for one reason or another. No matter how bad he felt or how tired he was, he always had a grin on his face. We also had some great days / nights out celebrating our successes over a glass of red or a G&T. Rest in Peace Jon, you will be missed.
Jon - it was such an honour to have worked with you and I am so glad that during this time I was able to get to know you as a person. Whilst we did not work together very long I feel I learned a lot from you. I truly admired your ways of working but above all your integrity - you really were a true gentleman. It was always so clear to me just how much you loved your family, something which I really respected, and I will always look back fondly to when we use to exchange stories about our Theos. You will be sorely missed not only as a colleague but also as a friend. x
