Dearly loved husband to Heather, Dad to Esther, Matthew, Patrick and Jackie and Grandad to Gabriel, Maisie, Benjamin and Thomas. Brother to Marilyn and Milne and much-loved Uncle and dear friend to many.

He has achieved success
who has lived well,
laughed often, and loved much;
who has enjoyed the trust of
pure women,
the respect of intelligent men and
the love of little children;
who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
who has left the world better than he found it
whether by an improved poppy,
a perfect poem or a rescued soul;
who has never lacked appreciation of Earth's beauty
or failed to express it;
who has always looked for the best in others and
given them the best he had;
whose life was an inspiration;
whose memory a benediction.

I'm from Trevor's Salvation Army days, where his abilities shone even then, becoming the bandmaster and songster leader at a young age. I remember changing band practice night when Trevor started night class, and before that, I remember seeing him in overalls in a fish and chip shop in Water Street, getting his dinner, when he was an apprentice plumber at A T Walker, probably when he was about 16 or so. Being 7 years younger, I grew up with a fondness for him and for his sister, Marilyn, who also played in the band. Then along came Milne and Heather to add to the circle. I hold them all very dear. Trevor once sang a solo, "I'm a soldier bound for glory, I'm a soldier going home." There now, my brother.
We've only just learnt the devastating news of Trevor's passing,
I first met Trevor in the Goat's gate many years ago and we would share a joke across the few tables in the old snug on a Friday evening. He was a great storyteller and he would always find the humour in things. He would even laugh at himself.
When he found out what Carolyn did for a living he started to use her business, more to support her than for any advantage for himself, and when she was diagnosed with Cancer he sent flowers and encouraging words.
I can honestly say that I've never met anyone who was so genuinely caring and attentive as Trevor. His warmth made everyone feel special
Our condolences to all of the family xx
To Uncle Trevor.
A true gentleman, Kind, Loving, Warm selfless true Gentleman. Your smile was amazing and infectious. You lit up a room. So many words can describe you. I am honoured to call you Uncle. So many beautiful memories and will miss you so much. Gone too soon. In Gods care now.
My Dear Godfather and Uncle T
I never in a million years thought Id be writing a message for you today; you have been there and guided me through my entire life over and beyond the call of duty and with so much unconditional love and care. I miss you terribly and always will but goodbye I dont have to say because you will forever in my thoughts, memories and prayers and with all my heart. We shared so many times together in work, leisure and family, the list of my fond memories of you is endless. We had work and leisure trips away both home and abroad, the Finland trip being such a memorable time with the experiences we shared. The times on the golf courses we have played for hours and hours I remember every one, tears of laughter and frustration, joy of our joint victories together and good company golf with our friends and family, not forgetting our reminiscing of the game in the 19th hole and also that of the funny stories you told, sometimes repeated as you know but always the same fun and laughter listening to your recollections. We always enjoyed our Godfather and Godson catch ups in the pub, the Goats Gate, The Eagle, The Hare & Hounds, The Old Cross, a theme of Joseph Holts appears to be re-occurring as I write! I know you will be smiling as I write as am I but with tears of sadness too.
Goodbye for now my Godfather and Uncle T and only for now.
Love forever, Godson JP x
Trevor has been an inspiration and has never failed to raise the hearts and spirits of the team/pt family. He will be greatly missed but we will continue in the ways he would have wanted. My thoughts and condolences go out to all of the family.
Uncle, I still can't believe I am writing a tribute because of your passing. Words cannot describe this difficult moment, but as this is the last time I get to say goodbye I do so in the knowledge that I was blessed to have known such a warm loving and caring man. Love, thoughts and prayers go out to Auntie Heather and family.
May God bless you Uncle Trev from Simon, Caroline and Ella.
Sending our love and condolences to you all at this very difficult time. Trevor welcomed us into his family with open arms, such a wonderful, warm, generous person, always full of fun, who loved his time with his family. We will miss him dearly.x
Sending love to Esther, the grandchildren and all of Trevors family. It must be 20 years since I worked with Trevor but i enjoyed every minute of it. Obviously a really clever man, but I most admired his warm, supportive management style. A real gentleman,
Our condolences to Trevor's family. We worked with Trevor many years ago when he was a Lecturer in Civils at Salford Uni. He was such a lovely man, always appreciative of the work we did for him and made our day with his ready smile, his laugh and his easy going personality. RIP Trevor, you will be missed.
We were saddened by the news of the passing of your dear husband, Trevor, peace to his soul

In the short time we knew Trevor, he was always proud to be associated with The Salford Foundation Trust. long may it continue in the support of our younger generation, which we know Trevor would wish
We will remember Trevor as a a good neighbour, generous with his time and counsel. A lovely family man whose positive energy touched many lives. Rest in peace.

I only knew Trevor for four years but consider it a great privilege to have spent time with him. I will miss his wise counsel, support and friendship. He will be sorely missed.
I never got to know Trevor very well but I do know that he was a hardworking, intelligent man and clearly very proud of all of his family and I know they will continue to do him proud. Trevor always made you feel so welcome and I know he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. ❤️️
So very sorry. Trevor was a lovely man and a supportive and welcoming neighbour. Always smiling and always with time for a chat. Very sadly missed. Love to Heather and all the family.
i would need a book to write the anecdotes and a dictionary to list all the words that
would describe Trevor, this true loving family man.
Words like principled , visionary, practical, positive, planner, astute, so many, but above all , loyal.
OK, occasional cyclist, golfer, Holts imbiber and yes, artist.
With his appetite for life and his interest and care for all he met , he earned the respect that he so deserved.
For nearly 40 years the Murphy family have been close to the Mole family and we now we can only but try and share with them the loss of Trevor, this truly wonderful person.
May he rest in peace.
We felt privileged to have Trevor as our next door neighbour. Although we havent lived here very long, we felt an instant connection and loved our little chats over the garden fence. He was always kind, helpful, friendly and funny and we always came away smiling or laughing. You will be sorely missed Trevor. With all our love to Heather and family.
Shocked to hear of the passing of my oldest and longest friend Trevor. Lifelong friends since we both entered St Pauls School gates in 1954, God bless you Trevor, heartfelt condolences to Heather and family.
