Lee was the much loved son of Kay and Geoff, the brother of Eric, the devoted husband of Denice, the stepfather of Fiona, Sarah and Iain and, grandad of Scott, Laura, Billy, Ella, Mia, Loklan, Lowik and Elrik.
Lee worked for FedEx for many years and was happy in his job.
Lee loved motorbikes, he and Denice were members of the Westhoughton Motorbike Club where they made friends for life.
Life was great for Lee until he was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in September 2020. The cancer had spread throughout his body. In February 2021 Lee sadly passed away peacefully at home with his family surrounding him.
Lee was such a kind, caring, gentle and devoted family man. His sense of humour was witty and his one liners were second to none.
Everyone who knew Lee will miss him terribly and life will never be the same.

my nephew and my godson, what a kind and fun person you turned out to be as all these messages show. it was a pleasure to have you in our family. grandma's Gentle Giant and one of our Heavy mob.. You won first prize when you met Denice and that was the start of so many happy years for you both. we will all miss you Lee.
Well there we are dear brother, you've officially shuffled off the mortal coil and joined the Choir Invisible, the music at the service started well, became amazing in the middle and ended with an inspired comedy turn that raised a smile behind the mask :-)
Love you dude! R.I.P.
Rest in peace big'un. You were the first real male role model in my life, taking in a fatherless, grandfatherless (not that you liked being called grandad) little ginger child and treating me as your own. It is a testamant to what a brilliantly kind man you were. I will always try to be just as kind & funny as you were. I will always be thankful for what you have done for me over the past 30 years. You may be gone but you'll never be forgetten.
Such a wonderful gent to know, couldnt get the morning going without his coffee -always made me smile each day hearing him as he walked past mumbling that, sadly missed now & always - 952 request to clear granted, sleep well Lee xx
What a brilliant person to work with not just a colleague but a friend! Lee was the first driver I got to spend time out learning his route with! Such a character and will be missed! Rest easy Lee x
What a wonderful husband, dad, grandad and friend you were.
I really hope you are now having time with others you loved so dearly, your dad, grandma, grandad and your best friend, Andy.
We all miss and love you very much Lee xx
You were only 26 when you came into our lives. You became the stepdad of three teenagers and soon after that at 28 a grandad. We've all looked up to you for the last 33 years and we couldn't have wished for a better dad. You and mum were made for each other and you were so happy together. I hope you know how much we are all going to miss you. Life will not be the same but we will remember you with lots of fun and happy memories. Rest in Peace Lee. Love you.
Lee taught me humility and showed a pesky little teenager such respect that it would help shape me. Too many good memories of him and Denise having great times with friends. Ride on old friend you will be missed and my thoughts are with you all.
