In loving memory of our beloved Rosemary

Sadly Mum passed away very peacefully on Monday morning after a 9 month battle with cancer and spending her final 10 days in Bolton Hospice. A loving wife 0f 49 years to Graham, devoted mother to Helen and Andrew, mother in law to Liz and James and besotted grandmother to Charlie, George, Sam, Bella & Olivia - her family was her life, and she was with them right to the end. Rosemary had a wicked sense of humour, and loved the strong Northern comedy work of Victoria Wood and Peter Kay, especially Phoenix Nights. She’d often recite lines that made her chuckle: "It’s spitting, it’s that fine rain that soaks you through." She shared this same sense of humour and had a heart of gold. Even in her final week, she was enjoying a bit of Victoria Wood’s autobiography in the hospice and laughing while reciting lines from The Infamous Ballad of Barry & Freda – ‘Let’s do it’. Something to do with a woman’s weekly, a hostess trolley and baggy elastic… We all remember that one. Rest in peace Mum, we all love you and will miss you so so much xxxx Mum had wonderful care from the amazing staff at Bolton Hospice and it is her wish that any donations be made to them please.
