Marie Georgina Mcgregor

Marie passed away peacefully on the morning of 23rd August 2018 after a six year courageous battle with Mesothelioma.     Loving wife of Callum and beloved mother of Jonathan and Christopher.  Marie was also mother in law of Nichola for whom she considered; ‘the daughter she never had,’ and loving sister to her brother; George. Marie was adoring grandmother of Jacob and Isaac.     Six years ago Marie was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, for which sadly there is no cure. Her illness introduced Marie to Bolton Hospice and she spent time there attending day therapy; enjoying craftwork and complimentary therapies. Hence donations made in Marie’s memory will be given to the June Hancock Mesothelioma Research fund, to try and find a cure for this terrible disease, and to Bolton Hospice.
