Max, a truly lovely Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa and friend to many
Died peacefully in his happy room at Hollybank Care Home with staff who loved and cared for him.
A gentle, wise man who was interested In people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds. He cared very deeply for his family. He was interested in a wide variety of things and loved going to the ballet, gardening and eating puddings.
He maintained a strong Christian faith to the very end.
"Don't forget about passing a smile on!"

Bolton Road Methodist Church
A Thanksgiving Service will be held at Bolton Road Methodist Church on Wednesday 28th October 2020 at 1pm.
The interment will take place before that at St Anne's Church, Tottington at 12 noon for immediate family only.
Due to current restrictions attendance at the Thanksgiving Service is by invitation only.
