    Greetings

    Boo! Got you! Ian's arrived!

Fond memories of love, laughter and banter every day at Day Services. Lots of Ian's key phrases will stay with us forever in our hearts and were so telling of Ian's hearty character: We will always remember Ian's sense of humour by him calling people "monkey!", his thoughtfulness for others, asking "are you alright" and strong will, telling us "that's right - I got it right!" and "I know that!"

Ian's warmth and kindness lent him to making many friends within Day Services, especially Brian. The pair were brought together by their shared love of steam trains and mischievous streaks. The two of them would often be seen sharing each other's magazines and having their own special conversations that only they could understand. Ian would also make visitors to Bolton Road feel welcome, especially the postman who would always make a beeline for Ian and bring him the post. We will all lovingly remember his winning smile, wicked laugh, bright eyes and the flutter of his beautifully long eyelashes that we were all so jealous of.

Thank you to Ian for letting us be part of his life and sharing all those happy memories with you.
Rest in peace our cheekiest of cheeky monkeys.
With love from all at Bolton Road - BANG!

When I was a little girl I visited my nana. I would look out of the window for you then run to see you and hold your hand. As I got older I had my daughter's. Each time we saw you they would also run to the car to say hello. You told us stories of where you had been and the mischief you had been getting up to. You always made me smile and were always so happy. You were part of my special day, my wedding, and i will never forget that. You were loved by many and touched so many peoples hearts. You will be missed Ian but never forgotten. Sleep Tight xxx
