Uncle Stan I will always remember mum and I visiting you and Aunt Betty every Saturday and your visits to mum's. The chats we had about old motorcycles, I still have the pictures of the Ivory Calthorpe you gave me. Also the knowledge I gained from you about the old railways around Adlington and the many interesting hours I spent doing research at Chorley library and making copies of old ordnance maps for you. The lovely smell of beer brewing and when old enough being able to join you in a pint. Now your with spirit and enjoying life again with Aunty Betty and the rest of our family who are waiting there for you. no pain, no illness. Love you Uncle

    Greetings

You have left an empty place in this world,
You have always been here, for us.
While we are happy you are free to journey forward.
We mourn the loss of you Granddad, the funny stories, that cheeky chuckle, your intelligence, your caring heart, your thoughtfulness, your concern for your fellow man.
You were truly a gentleman and uniquely gifted.
Thank you for the beautiful childhood memories.
Thank you for continuing your encouraging words of wisdom into my adult life.
Your prayers and your letters, when arthritis would no longer allow you to write with a pen, you bought a type writer and kept going.
You are a beautiful soul and I am so thankful for the gift of you.
I love you Granddad dad xoxox always Martine and boys xoxox

A pleasure to have known you, an honour to have served with you and a privilege to have had you as our friend. You did your duty in all things. You could not have done more. You never wished to do less. Rest in peace Old Friend.

    Greetings

Lovely memories of my dear dad Stanley.. Especially when little gathering Blackberries up at Rivington
and Holly to decorate the house at Christmas time. He was always kind and my friends loved his warm hospitality especially his home made wine and stanleys special brewed beer. My dad Stanley was a one off
and will be missed by all who knew him. He will not be forgotten for he touched our lives in a special way.
    Night night Dad.. God Bless.xx
