Said goodbye to my second mum, special friend and lovely person. She will be missed in our house, but never forgotten. We were blessed to have you in our lives. We shared the good times and held each other tight during the bad. A very special friend and second mum, you may be gone but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Norma. All our love, Lesley and Jayne

Norma, whenever I make a victoria sponge or see a Tiffany lamp I do and I will think of you - You truly were one of the kindest, most gentle ladies I have ever known and will always remember you with great love. It was an honour. All my love, Charlotte x x x

A beautiful half of a class act! Your family is important to us - Eddie even took our wedding photographs many years ago!

I met you when I was 12 at Atherton where Eddie worked with my dad. All through the years we have met up and when I was young I spent most of my time 'annoying' you everyday in the summer holidays. I thought you were the most beautiful and wonderful lady I have ever met and I still do. God bless you Norma. Love as always x

Missing you terribly. Thank you so much for being a lovely friend during the twenty years we were neighbours. Such happy memories. It will not be too long before we meet again.

I look out of the window and you would smile and wave,
Precious memories I will forever save,
Curtains stay open on the darker nights,
You would say ' I don't want to close them till your car is in sight.
We call would call around on Saturday to be greeted with a huge hug.
What shopping do you need, and you would sometimes shrug.
'What do I like', you would say,
Will you get me a nice salad for my tea today,
Can you get me some strawberries and cream for Eddie,
Some pizza slices and some meals that are ready,
The girls are coming down from Scotland, and it is a fair old hike,
will you get them something they really like.
Always thinking about your family and friends,
I will never let our friendship ever end.
Caring as ever, you would make us fresh hot bread,
A memory saved in Harriet's and Amelia's head.
God Bless you Norma, you are now at peace.
Our memories of your warm smile will never cease.
