Mum, I still can't believe that I'm even typing these words and that you're gone. We've known for a while now that you didn't have long left and we've tried so hard to make what little time you did have left, as comfortable as possible. I hope that you know we really tried our best for you.

One thing I can definitely say is that I'm so glad you're at peace now. I'm so glad that there's no more pain. No more sickness. No more hospital stays, treatments, blood tests and medications. You're finally able to be at peace and surrounded by love.

I take comfort in knowing that you're now in God's arms and that he's looking after you, until we are reunited. I just hope that as you're watching over me, dad, Chelsea and the kids that you're proud of us. Proud of the man I am, the dad and husband that I am. I strive for Chelsea and I to give our kids the same love and care that you've both shown us all these years

Just know that we've got dad's back. Chelsea and I will always ensure that dad is OK, that in time he will be happy and able to enjoy life.

I'll continue to look out for all your little signs that you're around, like the ones we've had recently. But know it's OK to go and rest now, you've fought the toughest, strongest battle of anybody I know and I'm so proud of you

Sending you all of our love, always, your baby boy, Michael and family ️❤️❤️
