Dear Grandma Jean
So very smart, such wonderful stories, so many jackets.
She will be sadly missed
With our love
Jon and Jacki
My heart aches to hear the news about Jean... My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Mark & Kay please know Im here for you if you need anything! I will cherish the memories from our wonderful Christmas concert and meal as well as the laughs between Mark and his Mum on the phone calls in the car. She had a wicked sense of humour well we know where Mark gets it from!
We will always remember Jean as a kind and gentle lady with a lovely sense of humour. She always called me Wilf, which I much prefer!
We will miss her very much.
Love Wilf and Lynne.
Very sad to hear of your mum's passing and thinking of you both. We always think of her as a very cheerful, kind lady who always looked immaculate , beautifully turned out whatever the occasion. Well done Jean. You are fondly remembered.
Thinking of you at this sad time. Chris and Kath x
My dad, Lawrence and Jean had many happy years together as close friends. I know, even though he is ill, he still misses her and talks about her fondly. All our family sends you our love and condolences. Jean was a beautiful soul.
Jean was a lovely and kind person who always made us smile. She enjoyed a good natter and remembered so much of what we spoke about even when months had passed. Christmas Eve wont be the same without her coming for bacon butties in the morning and she would be looking forward to spending time with her family. With all our love, Natasha, Paul and Nina xxx
So sorry to hear such sad news of the passing of such a wonderful lady.
We had the pleasure of getting to know Queen Jean when she came into our cafe - she always came in with a beaming smile and gave us both a hug, we will miss those but we will remember her smile and the laughs we shared.
You will be missed by many Jean, you touched the hearts of everyone in our little cafe
Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. It was a pleasure to have known such a lovely lady x much love x
The most fashionable lady at Hewlett Court. Jean was such a lovely woman, I am so glad I was able to meet and get to know her over the past year and a half. She will always be missed xxx
It was so lovely to get to know your mum over the years weve known you. Jean was such a cheerful person and a chatterbox that we all relate to in our family. Love to you both xxxx
I had the lovely pleasure of knowing Jean for about 17 years, she was such a beautiful kind friendly genuine person, we had such good chats and laughs. When she moved away from Chapeltown me and my kids and mum went to visit her once. I use to tease her and say that meadowhall takings had gone down since she left, ashe loved her shopping and was always dressed immaculate. My mum still wears some of Jean's clothes that she kindly gave her ( to make space in her wardrobe so she could buy more. God bless Jean my lovely friend. Until we meet again. Lots of love always Tessa & family xxxxxxxx
