At age 8 (maybe, it was a long time ago) my mum gave me the cake book and said which one would you like me to make for your birthday Her face when I said 'the swimming pool!' meant I'd chosen wisely. Not sure I saw that book again

Our memory of Chris was during the time Susan was studying violin at Bolton Music Centre with Junior Training Strings through to the Youth Orchestra and New Century Strings (NCS). We always remember the fantastic support Chris gave us during this time not only because her daughter was involved but because she had a genuine passion to help in the education of children. Chris became a good friend together with Phil and we have wonderful memories of all the fund raising concerts we put on with her help to enable NCS embark on a tour to Holland which included a wonderful visit to Amsterdam all helped by Chris hard work and dedication to children and to us as teachers.. Since we left Bolton in 2008 Chris has always remembered to send a greeting on my Birthday and cards at Christmas which we very much appreciated. We wish all her family many blessings and to remember that Chris was a wonderful gift and blessing to all of us. She will be sadly missed by all.
