I have many fond memories of playing for Radcliffe Juniors as a kid and George was a massive part of the club.

George made me feel welcome at Radcliffe Juniors when I was 5 years old playing for the Under 9s and he then formed the Under 7s. Im 34 years old now and have always loved football and still do.

Ive not seen him for years but I know me and loads of other lads owe a lot to George, he did everything for that club.

Thanks for the memories and everything you did for us - a massive part of the community. Will be missed.
